The photo above is of Corporal Larry Eugene Smedley (March 4, 1949–December 21, 1967), a United States Marine who was awarded the highest military decoration, the "Medal of Honor" for his heroic actions in December 1967 in Vietnam. Our museum honors Corporal Smedley by adding his name to museum.

Sgt. Conde's father is currently raising funds for a young marines community center. I had the priviledge to meet Ken Conde SR. at the museum and believe me all his hard work to raise monies for his community kids is done completely selflessly. His driving force is his son's memory because he gave his life for his country.
